Trump Moves To DQ Judge For Crime Of Being Clinton Appointee In Garbage Barge RICO Suit

Actual lawyers put their names on this POS.

Two weeks ago, Donald Trump filed the mother of all LOLsuits accusing Hillary Clinton and half the Democratic establishment of tortiously RICO-ing him in the 2016 election.

As Corbin Barthold, Internet Policy Counsel at Tech Freedom notes, this raging tirefire was docketed in Fort Pierce, presumably in hopes of ensuring that it would heard by Trump appointee Judge Aileen Cannon. Instead it was assigned to Judge Donald Middlebrooks, a Clinton appointee who works out of West Palm Beach. Which is no fair!

Luckily Trump’s LOLsuit expert Alina Habba is on it. Whether it’s threatening the Pulitzer Committee if it doesn’t revoke prizes for the Times and the Post or marching into court and demanding that a federal judge divest the state of jurisdiction and order the New York Attorney General to quit investigating Trump, Habba is never one to shy away from a performative lawsuit. And so it’s shocking, but not exactly surprising to see the motion to disqualify Judge Middlebrooks which she and local counsel Peter Ticktin, a personal injury and business litigator who happens to have roomed with Trump in high school, filed yesterday.

According to this legal brain trust, Judge Middlebrooks has no choice but to recuse himself for the dastardly crime of being appointed by President Clinton, who is actually married to the defendant, if you can even believe it!

“Due to the fact that Judge Middlebrooks has a relationship to the Defendant, HILLARY CLINTON’s husband, by way of his nomination as Judge to this Court, this amounts to prejudice so virulent or pervasive as to constitute bias against a party,” they write.

This is not an argument that Trump’s lawyers ever made when they were arguing his eleventy-seven election lawsuits in front of his own appointees, and presumably they would not have made it if they’d managed to get Judge Cannon. But having long ago lost the capacity to feel shame, they soldier on, even going so far as to imply some sort of improper relationship between the Clintons and Judge Middlebrooks, who has been on the bench since 1997.

Moreover, the Plaintiff is unaware of the exact extent of the relationship between Judge Middlebrooks and the Defendant, HILLARY CLINTON, herself, who acted as First Lady of the United States, during the time of the Judge’s nomination to Federal Court Judge.

The Plaintiff is also unaware if the Judge has current relationship with either the Defendant, HILLARY CLINTON, or her husband, and how far back the relationship has existed.

Wink wink, nudge nudge, if you know what I mean, and I think you do…

Well, enjoy that Rule 11 sanctions motion, fellas. Shouldn’t be long now.
