Trump Has Legal Advice For Fox As Dominion Trial Is Delayed A Day
Isn't that how they got in this mess in the first place?
Last night, Delaware Superior Court Judge Eric Davis announced that trial would be delayed by one day in Dominion Voting Systems’ $1.6 billion defamation suit against Fox News. This unleashed a wave of speculation that the case would finally settle, with multiple news outlets reporting that the network is motivated to get rid of this case.
This morning, Judge Davis appeared to tamp down rumors, saying “I made the decision to delay the start of the trial until tomorrow,” adding later that “it’s a six-week trial. Things happen… this is not unusual… This does not seem unusual to me.”

In light of all the newly emerged evidence, including recordings released by former Fox producer Abby Grossberg, it’s certainly not hard to come up with any number of reasons why this trial might be delayed. Indeed, last week Fox admitted that it had failed to disclose that Fox Corp chairman Rupert Murdoch also held an official position at Fox News.
“You have a credibility problem,” Judge Davis chastised Fox’s lawyers, instructing them to make any witness available to Dominion for immediate deposition at Fox’s expense. “I need to feel comfortable that when you represent something with me that it’s the truth — and that was not true.”
The court also threatened to sanction Fox, and warned their counsel to preserve their internal communications on the issue, prompting the lawyers to send an apology letter over the weekend.
In the meantime, Fox’s legal team is getting advice from someone who knows a thing or two about pissing off judges:

IF FOX WOULD FINALLY ADMIT THAT THERE WAS LARGE SCALE CHEATING & IRREGULARITIES IN THE 2020 PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION, WHICH WOULD BE A GOOD THING FOR THEM, & FOR AMERICA, THE CASE AGAINST THEM, WHICH SHOULD NOT HAVE EXISTED AT ALL, WOULD BE GREATLY WEAKENED. BACK UP THOSE PATRIOTS AT FOX INSTEAD OF THROWING THEM UNDER THE BUS – & THEY ARE RIGHT! THERE IS SOOO MUCH PROOF, LIKE MASS BALLOT STUFFING CAUGHT ON GOVERNMENT CAMERAS, FBI COLLUDING WITH TWITTER & FACEBOOK, STATE LEGISLATURES NOT USED, etc.
Yes, the court has already barred the defense of newsworthiness and granted partial summary judgment to Dominion, finding that all 20 statements at issue were, in fact, defamatory. But if Fox’s lawyers would just talk about different debunked election fraud theories, this case would be a slam dunk.
And if you can’t trust Donald Trump for legal advice, who can you trust?
