Subject: Associate Salary and Bonus Announcement
As we conclude another year of strong growth, we are pleased to announce that the firm will be awarding market bonuses to qualifying Associates for 2023 performance. Your hard work has not gone unnoticed, and it is an important driving force behind our continued success. Thank you for your exceptional contributions and commitment to excellence. In addition to the amounts listed below, consistent with past practice, the firm expects to pay supplemental bonuses to Associates who had an exceptional year.
The base market bonuses for qualifying Associates in all of the Vinson & Elkins offices will be as follows:

| 2019 | $75,000 |
| 2018 | $90,000 |

| All bonus amounts (including our above-market supplemental bonuses) will be paid consistent with the Firm’s Associate Bonus Plan. Associates must be in good standing and employed by the Firm on the date of payment to receive bonuses. Bonus amounts for Associates in the firm’s U.S. offices will be included in the January 31, 2024 payroll run. | |
Supplemental bonus amounts for Associates will be determined on an individual basis with input from Practice Group Leaders and Talent Leads and will be communicated before the end of January.
In addition, we are pleased to announce that the firm is increasing salaries for U.S. Associates as reflected in the chart below.
