Showing Up To Another Court While There's A Warrant For Your Arrest Proves A Bad Idea For MAGA Lawyer

Though, honestly, probably not the worst idea she's had over the past four years.

stupid confused shrug man with beard idiot moron dunce hipsterWillie Sutton once explained that he robbed banks “because that’s where the money is.” By contrast, if the authorities have a warrant out for your arrest, you might not want to stroll into a courthouse because that is most assuredly where the cops are.

This is a lesson that Michigan lawyer Stefanie Lambert learned the hard way yesterday.

Lambert thought she’d found her big break when she signed on to be local Michigan counsel for the infamous election-denying Kraken litigation. Helping legal luminaries like Sidney Powell and Lin Wood blow the lid off rampant voting fraud and reinstall Donald Trump for another term as president. Then those folks all got sanctioned because the affidavits in the case were facially loony and frivolous. The hits just kept coming. And recently, Lambert found herself on the wrong end of a bench warrant for failing to appear multiple times in a case about tampering with a vote tabulator.

So obviously she went to DC for a hearing as she represents former Overstock.com CEO and current wacko Patrick Byrne in the defamation case Dominion Voting Systems brought against him. She’s also facing a disqualification motion in that case over alleged leaks of confidential material.

Respect the MAGA hustle.

But also… from CNN:

The judge told Lambert to stay behind as the hearing wrapped up. The other attorneys left the courtroom, and two federal marshals then went inside and locked the doors. Lambert was never seen exiting the courtroom.

Perfection.

Someday, the oral history of this will come out and we’ll hear about the judge and marshals telling Michigan authorities that there’s no way Lambert is really going to show up knowing that she’s a wanted woman and Michigan calmly explaining, “no, you need to estimate her far less.”

She’s been charged in Washington as a fugitive from justice.
