Atlanta Judge Removed From Office Following Arrest
There goes your career.
Chief Justice Roberts might be throwing his hands up at the Supreme Court’s legitimacy problem, but Georgia’s Supreme Court takes it very seriously. Today, Georgia’s highest court signed off on removing Judge Christina Peterson from her office. She’s faced other issues, namely her recent interaction with the police. While her actions leading up to her arrest remain unclear — whether she was helping a woman being attacked or if she hit an officer is being disputed — the recorded conduct prior to and after her arrest isn’t befitting of a judge.
