The Money From This Swing State's Laywers Bleeds Overwhelmingly Blue

Send in that money!

987705Kamala Harris is receiving overwhelming support to her campaign. Michelle Obama’s diss speech and Barack Obama’s very dignified joke about Donald Trump being a size queen have been the high-profile attention getters, but true politics runs on something deeper than great oration. It runs on money! Red or blue, the most important metric to follow prior to any election has always been the green! Georgia’s lawyers have been transferring their support from their wallets to Kamala’s campaign coffers in droves. From Law.com:

Despite its status as a “battleground state” because of some close statewide races in recent years, many more Georgia lawyers appear to be supporting the Democratic presidential ticket with their dollars than the Republican ticket in 2024.

An analysis of federal campaign contribution data shows Georgia attorneys showing up in greater numbers and with more cash for Democratic nominee Vice President Kamala Harris and running mate Gov. Tim Walz of Minnesota than for former President Donald Trump and running mate Sen. J.D. Vance, R-Ohio.

Would you look at that! There has been legitimate concern over the prospect that Kamala’s candidacy was more heavily supported by coconut tree memes than a genuine wish to see her run the county, but the record-breaking crowd funding of her campaign shows that support extends far beyond an audience that gets skibidi toilet memes. Yes, dear reader, I’m talking about you.

In case you wanted to follow a separate financial indicator besides donations, it may also be worth keeping an eye on Trump Media. Given how closely it follows Trump’s campaign, each dip in DJT could mark a boon for Kamala.
