Two years of living and working under the umbrella of the pandemic has prompted many lawyers to reassess their priorities, their jobs, and even their choice of career. This phenomenon (which is not limited to attorneys, of course) has fueled talk of “The Great Resignation” and “The Age of Anti-Ambition”—not to mention an exceptionally hot lateral market and flurry of market-setting raises as firms compete for associate talent.

For those of you joining the mass migration, we want to know why — what makes for greener pastures in your eyes? For those who plan to remain where they are, what keeps you motivated? Has the nature of your work — or the nature of your feelings about work — changed? How do your current career goals compare to those you had prior to the onset of the pandemic?

Please tell us about your experiences in this short, anonymous survey, conducted with our friends at Adam Smith, Esq. And please pass the survey along to your colleagues and friends at other firms. We want to hear from as many associates as possible!
