Recently, I had the opportunity to have a virtual conversation with attorney Mark Richards. He represented Kyle Rittenhouse in his highly contentious criminal trial last year, which resulted in an acquittal on all counts.

We talked about Richards’s background, how he got involved in the criminal case, and some of the strategies he used, including the decision to allow Rittenhouse to testify in court. We then talked about how he built his successful law practice and how he dealt with the media publicity.

Richards will make a guest appearance at the Waldorf-Astoria Beverly Hills Hotel on May 12, 2022, in Beverly Hills, California. The event, entitled “Resolving Rittenhouse,” is presented by the Westside Bar Association, and MCLE credits will be awarded for those who attend. If you wish to see him speak in person, you must purchase a ticket at the Westside Bar Association website here.

I want to thank Mr. Richards for taking time out of his schedule to talk to me.
