Boutique Law Firm Announces Big-Time Bonuses On Christmas Eve

Law firms across the country were eager to make their bonus announcements before the winter holidays hit, matching Milbank’s generous year-end and special bonuses, left and right. The latest boutique firm to offer up Biglaw money waited until Christmas Eve to stuff associates’ stockings with cash, making the moment extra special.
Massumi + Consoli LLP, a Los Angeles-based firm specializing in private equity and M&A deals, is matching the market, offering year-end and special bonuses, with totals ranging from $4,000 to $140,000. Individual associate bonuses at M+C may be further adjusted based on billable hours, performance reviews, and extraordinary contributions to the firm. Here’s what the scale looks like at the firm:
