So who is the worst behaved Biglaw attorney of them all? And I’m not talking about just being a jackhole — Biglaw has too many of those — but lawyers who’ve been arrested (and some convicted) for their misdeeds. That’s the question we seek to answer in this year’s March Madness pool — and it provides us with a great excuse to reminisce about some of the craziest stories from the Above the Law archives.

#1 Seed Edward De Sear v. #2 Seed Evan Greebel
The first matchup features an attorney serving time –17.5 years — for truly awful crimes. Edward De Sear pleaded guilty to four counts of distribution of child pornography and to sex trafficking of a child. There isn’t any joke I can make to make the terribleness of those crimes palatable. He’s pitted against pharma douchebag Martin Shkreli’s former attorney Evan Greebel. Greebel is accused of financial crimes that allegedly allowed Shkreli to use his biotech company as his piggybank.
