We laughed, we cried, we fielded butthurt comments from everyone in between. But now it’s time to unveil the winner.

Last year, we had 22,814 votes cast. We suffered a bit of a setback this year with a mere 18,290 votes. On the other hand, last year we had three strong contenders that netted over 20 percent each. This year was a bit more of a smackdown.
Congratulations to NYU for their entry 3L, which reimagined Belle as a horribly awful 3L reading law reviews cover-to-cover (the best arguments are in the footnotes!) and managed to win the voters’ hearts by capturing 50 percent of the total vote with the highest vote total any competitor has ever garnered in the history of this competition by my estimation.
