Our journey began with 64 movies, television shows, books, plays, musicals, and songs. In the end, only A Few Good Men and My Cousin Vinny remained. After a blowout of a final round — by a 3-to-1 margin — voters anointed My Cousin Vinny as the greatest work of legal fiction ever. This pronouncement is now certified by top members of the state and federal Departments of Weights and Measures to be dead-on balls accurate.
Long hailed as one of the most realistic courtroom tales, My Cousin Vinny routinely lands on “must watch” lists for young lawyers. That inter-generational renewal clearly helped the film capture such strong support among the ATL readership some 26 years after its release.
