Megalomaniac billionaires running for president of the most powerful country in the world: they’re just like us!
After missing five jury summonses, and facing a $250 fine, Donald Trump reported to jury duty this morning. With this service the fine will be expunged. And attorney/Trump spokesperson/marital rape denier Michael Cohen insisted on CNN that the missed appearances were the result of a mailing snafu:
When host Chris Cuomo asked “How powerful is Trump if he can’t get out of jury duty?”
Cohen said that “it’s unfortunate,” calling it a “wacky” scenario.
“He’s a jury skipper,” [CNN host Chris] Cuomo responded.
“Not true,” he said. “You gotta serve it to the right property … I believe he owns the building but he doesn’t reside there,” Cohen said. “Nobody knows what happened to the document.”

I guess basics like your mailing address get lost in the shuffle when you’re busy planning world domination.
I guess it is too much to ask that he gets picked for a nice, long trial, then we might actually go a whole week without hearing about the Donald — and that would be unAmerican.
