What’s the show about? Find out, after the jump.

The series is called “America Revealed.” Kwon explains it as follows:

I’m excited to announce the premiere of my new series, “America Revealed,” this Wednesday night (April 11) at 10pm on PBS. The four-part series examines America’s obsession with Speedos, thongs, and hot pants.

Just kidding. It’s actually about the complex systems and networks that make our modern lives possible, but are being pushed to their limits. Over four weeks, we explore how America makes food, transports people, produces energy, and manufactures products. Hosting this show has one of the most challenging experiences of my life, not least because it’s required me to spend months away from my newborn daughter, get hit by hundreds of tomatoes at close distance, and repeatedly confront my fear of heights, claustrophobia, and motion sickness.

I hope you can check it out. The content is fascinating and the visuals are absolutely stunning – and you’ll learn a lot more (and feel a whole lot better about yourself) than if you spent an hour looking at hot pants.

Video clips appear below. The first is a 30-second clip, while the second is an extended promo. I’m admittedly biased (Kwon is a friend), but the show looks great, both engaging and informative. Check it out on Wednesday night.

P.S. Speaking of videos, the deadline for our fourth annual Law Revue Video Contest is tomorrow — so if you’d like to submit, you need to act fast. Please follow these instructions. Good luck!
