This Proves That Lawyers Love To Bang Their Coworkers

Lawyers don't even TRY to avoid office romances.

The percentage of law professionals who say they have engaged in an office romance—53—is actually slightly higher than the overall survey average of 51%. And they are more likely to have had such a romance than respondents who work in banking (49%) and accounting (45%), but less likely than those who work in retail (62%) or technology (60%).

— Vault Law Editor Nicole Weber, announcing the “highly anticipated” results of the Vault Office Romance Survey. Weber notes that only 28% of lawyers have tried to avoid office romances (compared to 36% of all respondents). Moreover, half of those in the legal industry who responded to the survey didn’t even know if their firms had policies on office relationships, and 40% of them had no idea what their firms would think about office romances.
