Junior to Mid-Level Corporate Associate

Kinney Recruiting has been asked by the hiring partner of a prominent biglaw firm in Philadelphia, and a longtime Kinney Recruiting client, to conduct a search for a junior to mid-level corporate associate for the firm's Philadelphia office. The ideal candidate should have two or more years of experience in a transactional corporate practice. The team advises clients on a broad spectrum of complex domestic and cross-border transactions, working alongside clients as strategic partners. This is a confidential and unposted position. The ideal candidate should possess the following: A JD from a nationally-ranked US law school Admission to the Pennsylvania bar, or eligibility to waive into the Pennsylvania bar Hands-on drafting and reviewing experience with transaction documents, including purchase agreements, financing documents, and shareholder agreements Experience supporting deal teams through all phases of a transaction, from due diligence through closing Exposure to corporate governance matters, including board resolutions, regulatory filings, and ancillary transaction documentation Str on g analytical and research skills, with the ability to identify and communicate legal issues clearly The firm compensates associates on the New York "biglaw" market scale.
