In addition to the bonus announcement of Quinn Emanuel, late last week brought bonus news from the New York office of Mayer Brown. But the MB announcement was considerably less interesting.
It was essentially a match of the Cravath bonus scheme, but with a slight twist….

FYI, Mayer Brown announced bonuses for the NY office [last] Thursday, matching the Cravath scale, but with an unspecified hours requirement. Last year was 1600 (which sounds great except that you need to hit 2000 to get your market raise for next year); they advised we should expect it to be higher this year.
It’ll be interesting to see how much the Chicago office beats us by this year….
