Now, nothing is perfect. The house was split up into two separate apartments, even though the family would have preferred a single-family house. So here you see two different living rooms (one has cabinets underneath the kitchen counter, and the other doesn’t; click to enlarge):

It’s too bad this isn’t a working fireplace, like what you’d see in an Upper East Side apartment in Metropolitan, but let’s not nit-pick:
