Last week, we asked readers to submit possible captions for this photo:

On Monday, you voted on the finalists, and now it’s time to announce the winner of our caption contest….

As is customary with our caption contests, we will now reveal the backstory behind the picture. The photo was taken in the Chicago office of Kirkland & Ellis. A tipster said this about a situation that’s ripe for laughter:

The natives have been getting very restless around K&E’s Chicago office lately. Our morning delivery of fresh fruits, yogurts, and cereals has been plagued by a delay in bananas on a daily basis. Lots of unhappy faces – perhaps due to a lack of potassium.

But was there any resolution to this? We’re not sure, but the winning caption sums it up quite nicely:

Further proof that first year associates are basically highly-trained monkeys.
