I’ve got to say, that was not as cringe-worthy as I’d expected. When I clicked the link, I expected something between A Million Little Pieces author James Frey’s return trip to Oprah and Jack Nicholson’s Colonel Jessup moment.

Crittenden is self-effacing when confronted with the most wacky assumptions of the National Jurist rankings and there is at least a logical basis for structuring the rankings this way, even if the execution left a lot to be desired. Especially for poor Chicago. 56‽ (Catch that interrobang?)

But come on. I’m a fan of affordability, but there’s something to be said for recognizing value. Some of these schools are more expensive because they’re actually better.
