Caption Contest Winner: Stretching Does a Student Body Good

Just how far can a law student bend before she breaks? Let's find out...

Last week, we asked readers to submit possible captions for this photo:

On Wednesday, you voted on the finalists, and now it’s time to announce our caption contest winner….

As is customary with our caption contests, we will now reveal the backstory behind the picture. As some of you guessed, this photo was taken in the Georgetown Law Library. What is it with GULC students doing strange things in the library during finals? At least she managed to keep her clothes on.

Before I announce the winner, because so many of you were absolutely enraged over the choice of finalists, here’s a word on how they’re chosen. Our instructions clearly state that “[w]e’ll choose our favorites — with preference given to those with a legal bent.” The caption that had the most likes in Disqus wasn’t chosen as a finalist because it didn’t adhere to the instructions — at all. Sure, it was funny, but come on, you got a “LOL an ATL editor is fat” caption in the last contest. Get over it.

With that out of the way, here’s the winning caption:

This law student needed to count to 15.

Thanks to everyone for suggesting comments and for voting. If you wrote the winning caption, feel free to email us, subject line “Caption Contest Winner,” to claim your prize (an ATL t-shirt).

P.S. Because I’m nice, Raj, you can send us an email for a t-shirt, too. Your fan club will be overjoyed.
