Justice Clarence Thomas Speaks!

Highlights from Justice Thomas's hilarious and heartwarming remarks at last night's Federalist Society dinner.

Thanks to my hosts for the evening, Kevin O’Scannlain, son of my former boss, and his employer, Chevron (which has been trouncing its nemesis, Steven Donziger, in court; Donziger now admits that he “did make errors along the way,” which is one way of putting things).

We were seated just one table away from the stage, which is why Justice Alito’s head got caught in my photo of Justice Thomas and Judge Sykes:

I was sitting just a table away from Justice Alito. Our chairs were so close, I could have reached out and touched him during dinner (but didn’t want to get dragged out of the ballroom by a beefy man with an earpiece). I noticed that both he and Martha-Ann Alito barely touched their desserts, which might explain why they’re both looking so fit and fabulous these days.

And Judge Diane Sykes, a Superhottie of the Federal Judiciary, always looks amazing:
