Earlier this week, we asked readers to submit possible captions for this picture:
You voted on the finalists, and now it’s time to announce the winner of our contest.
As is customary with our caption contests, we’ll now reveal the backstory behind the picture. This shot was obviously taken at the UCLA/Stanford game last week, but what you might not know is that the Stanford Law student pictured on the right says this was from footage that was pre-recorded before the game even started. He says that when this footage was filmed, he was reading briefs for Federal Litigation arguments that he had to judge the next day, and that he was standing during the game itself.
