Caption Contest: If These Walls Could Talk… About SCOTUS Justices

Whether you love to love them or love to hate them, Justices Scalia and Ginsburg have changed America.

Supreme Court justices are often revered and praised, but some of them have become muses for high art. After all, Justices Antonin Scalia and Ruth Bader Ginsburg have an acclaimed opera, Scalia/Ginsburg, named after them.

Justice Ginsburg inspired a pop-culture movement and a t-shirt line, and Justice Scalia inspired a Twitter hashtag war with #scalia4kids. Whether you love to love them or love to hate them, Justices Scalia and Ginsburg have changed America.

In fact, these beloved justices may have even changed the decor of the American home.

Here’s the picture for our caption contest. Imagine the justices staring you down at home:

Same rules as always: submit possible captions in the comments. Please try to be funny (and please try to use as many SCOTUS quotes as you can). We’ll choose our favorites — with preference given to those with a legal bent — and then let you vote for the best one.

Please submit your entries by THURSDAY, JULY 16, at 11:59 P.M. (EST). Thanks!
