The future Tweeter-in-Chief’s younger daughter has already taken a look at Harvard Law, and now she’s extended her search to the shores of Manhattan.
Late last week, Tiffany was spotted touring Columbia Law. First Harvard and then Columbia… in the business, we call that “pulling a Ginsburg.”

Still, based on our information that she just took the LSAT this month and shouldn’t be receiving her results until early next year, it’s hard not to think these tours are a bit premature. It’s one thing to be prepared as a prospective law student, and another to be the president-elect’s daughter looking at top-tier schools before knowing if your tests scores will get you in. If she were to end up attending somewhere less prestigious at this point, a lot of people will point to her shopping around above her qualifications.
And that would be unfair because her undergraduate accomplishments justify looking at these schools, but law school overweights the importance of that test. Now, it’s possible that the cachet of having Tiffany enrolled would shield her from the risk of an LSAT letdown, but with all eyes upon you now, maybe just wait until January to book these trips.
Anyway, even though I’m still pulling for Tiffany here, I will note that I haven’t heard anything about her touring NYU yet, but I’m just going to assume she knows enough to put New York’s greatest school on her list. It’s the natural complement for the student contemplating a New York law school career.
