Jersey Shore's Snooki Charged in Connection with Teen's Death

Now here’s something from RadarOnline that I think we can believe:

Jersey Shore star Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi was criminally charged for selling booze to minors at a party at her house — a party that ended with the tragic drunk driving death of one of her classmates, RadarOnline.com has uncovered in a blockbuster exclusive. Snooki was one of three people charged in connection with the 2004 death of teenager Michael Truncali, a RadarOnline.com investigation revealed.

Truncali crashed his vehicle and died driving home from a party at Snooki’s house. His BAC was .18 at the time of the accident.

RadarOnline actually talked with Michael Truncali’s parents, who were understandably upset….

I can’t imagine how it feels to have someone involved with your son’s death wind up a star — for engaging in exactly the kind of activity that got your son killed. But it’s got to suck:

Michelle and Bill Truncali said they were upset that Jersey Shore appears to “glorify” alcohol consumption.
Michelle said she watched two episodes and couldn’t take anymore.

She expressed some anger toward Snooki, saying: “She doesn’t care about what happened to our son.” But later in the interview she took a more conciliatory tone and told RadarOnline.com: “We’re not out to trash Nicole. I never blamed her for what happened, she was a 16-year-old (sic). I blame others. I am not looking for those people to get arrested, I just want the truth.”

Apparently Snooki threw a party at her home, which Michael Truncali and others attended. She was selling alcohol at the party and charged with prohibited sale of alcoholic beverages. Allegedly her mother was at the party as well and drinking with the minors, though no charges were ever filed against the mother. Snooki was 17 at the time of the accident.

Yeah, Jersey Shore, what a great show. It’s all fun and games until somebody loses an eye F**KING DIES.
