On Friday we posted a photo of a law-related license plate that struck some of you as rather obnoxious. We asked you to send in pictures of additional legally-themed vanity plates, by email (subject line: “Vanity License Plate”).
We received a number of interesting submissions. Check out the first one….
Protégé™ In CourtLink® Explains The Whole Case Faster
Designed to reduce manual docket work by prioritizing what litigators need most: on-demand full docket summarization that explains the whole case to date, followed by on-demand document summaries for filing triage, and AI-powered natural language searching for faster search and retrieval.
We’ve posted a photo of the license plate below. Quipped our tipster: “Seriously, how much of a douche do you have to be?”
In defense of the driver, is it really that bad? Is it any more objectionable than having a rear-windshield sticker touting your alma mater, as many alumni (or their proud parents) do?
We were struck by the contrast between the make of the car (Cadillac) and the lettering on the license plate, “NYULAW07.” You wouldn’t expect to see a 2007 law school grad driving around in a Caddy, a vehicle favored by the Social Security set. Maybe “NYU Law 07” = 1907?
Legal Is Changing. And NeoSummit Is Where The Future Is Being Built.
Legal and operational leaders are gathering May 6–7 in Fort Lauderdale to confront the questions the industry hasn't answered—with a keynote from Amanda Knox setting the tone.
Please continue to send us other amusing law-related license plates, by email (subject line: “Vanity License Plate”). If we get enough of them, we might hold a contest in which you can vote for the most egregious. Thanks.
