Honestly, it’s not as fabulous as we expected. It’s not nearly as nice as ex-chairman Steve Davis’s former office.
As we previously mentioned, DiCarmine at one point sat on the same floor as Davis — the 43rd floor, the luxuriously appointed “executive floor” of Dewey’s offices at 1301 Avenue of the Americas. But then DiCarmine moved down to the 27th floor — “so he could watch people,” in the words of one source, or “to be where the action was,” as a different tipster told us.
These photos are from DiCarmine’s former office on the 27th floor. Here’s his desk and sitting area (click to enlarge):

It was rumored — see the comments on this post — that Steve Davis had a desk that cost tens of thousands of dollars. Meanwhile, DiCarmine had a coffee table straight from Crate and Barrel. Some former D&L employees alleged that DiCarmine spent profligately, but his office furniture doesn’t suggest that.
He also didn’t seem to spend that much on art. Perhaps some of the art had already been taken away by the time these photos were taken, but based on this pic, DiCarmine kept his walls pretty bare:

Legal work isn’t slowing down, and the firms that win won’t be the ones working harder — they’ll be the ones working smarter.
In the comments, feel free to suggest titles for that painting behind DiCarmine’s desk.
The next photo offers evidence of DiCarmine’s indulgences….
