Mid-Level Associate Attorney

About the Firm

Peikoff Mahan LLP is a boutique entertainment law firm representing award-winning actors, writers, and directors across film, television, and theater. We are seeking a talented mid-level associate to join our collaborative and fast-paced practice.

Position

The associate will work closely with partners on a broad range of transactional entertainment matters, including reviewing, drafting, and negotiating agreements. While prior entertainment industry experience is a plus, it is not required for candidates who demonstrate a genuine, long-term commitment to building a career in entertainment law.

Qualifications

-3–5 years of transactional experience at a major, top-tier law firm
-Current admission to the NYS bar (or willing to become admitted prior to starting)
-Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills
-Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational abilities
-Ability to manage a diverse, high-volume workload while meeting deadlines
-A proactive, intellectually curious, and self-motivated approach with a strong work ethic
-Strong interest in entertainment law and the entertainment industry

Compensation & Benefits

Salary: $140,000–$165,000 annually, commensurate with experience
