Schenck Price Competes Smarter With Lexis+ With Protégé
LexisNexis sat down with John Ursin, Managing Partner at Schenck Price, to learn how the firm is using legal AI to strengthen client service and daily legal work.
As is customary with our caption contests, we’ll now reveal the backstory behind the picture. The photo came to me from Chief Judge Alex Kozinski of the Ninth Circuit, who recently traveled to Guam (where the photo was taken), Saipan, Australia, and New Zealand. (The judge also sent me a rather strange video of him riding a carabao.)
I wondered if the gentleman in the middle might be a judge as well — perhaps a tribal judge of some sort — but Chief Judge Kozinski disabused me of this notion: “No, he’s a guy who stands in front of a curio shop and charges $1 for having his picture taken with you.”
Fans of the Village People will appreciate the winning caption, which won in a (deserving) landslide victory:
AI Is Reshaping Legal Practice—But Tools Aren’t The Real Differentiator.
Explore the mindset, cultural shifts, and training strategies that define the AI‑savvy lawyer, revealing why human judgment, standardized competence, and integrated learning—not technology alone—will shape the future of the profession.
Unfortunately, Chief Judge Kozinski and Chief Justice Torres left their policeman and construction worker outfits at home that day.
Thanks to everyone for suggesting comments and for voting. If you wrote the winning caption, feel free to email us, subject line “Caption Contest Winner,” to claim your prize (an Above the Law t-shirt).
