There might be two students that is [sic] going to enter into Ave Maria School of Law with machine guns… I don’t want my teachers to be jeopardized.
— An anonymous caller on Friday to the Collier County Sheriff’s Department reporting what turned out to be an unfounded threat. Dean Kevin Ceiply defended his decision to not overreact, saying that he did not feel the threat was imminent since no specific date or time was associated with the tip.
