As noted by the Times, the apartment boasts almost 5,000 square feet, four bedrooms and four and a half baths, and all of the amenities of the Pierre Hotel, including maid and concierge service, a fitness center, valet parking, and a round-the-clock doctor on call. There’s a reason the monthly maintenance exceeds $21,000.
Here’s the living room, 30 feet by 15 feet. Perhaps it should be wider, but it’s on a corner and enjoys direct Central Park views, so you can’t complain too much:
This room is the library (not to be confused with the study on the other side of the apartment), which also looks out on Central Park. Note the built-in bookshelves, perfect for holding patent-law treatises, and the painted blue ceiling (which I suspect the new owner will have redone):
Does this apartment have you drooling? Follow me, maybe we can find some napkins in the dining room….
