STEPTOE & JOHNSON LLP — MEMORANDUM — TIME ENTRY PERFORMANCE
In an effort to improve our time entry performance we have decided to make some changes as outlined in the attached memo to All Timekeepers and Staff. Please contact your supervisor or practice group leader if you have any questions about these changes. They take effect today.
Time entries are expected to be recorded daily (this is consistent with our current policy on time entry).

Timekeepers who repeatedly fail to enter and release their time by close of business on the second business day of the following week will have that fact included in their annual evaluations and such failure could impact annual bonuses and/or future compensation or advancement.
The Vice Chair or a designee may grant an exemption to a timekeeper who is not able to submit time in conformity with these policies, but only in exceptional circumstances.
Starting with the week of July 13th, secretaries will be eligible to receive a weekly bonus of $25 if all of the lawyers to whom they are assigned have all of their time entered for the previous week by close of business on the second business day of the week.
Thank you for your cooperation and support.
