Did you know that May is heath and wellness awareness month? Yeah, me neither. But, here we are. And goodness knows mindfulness and living well is trending. Maybe it seems like a lot of nonsense to the uninformed, but with recent research suggesting that mindfulness leads to better and more fulfilled employees it isn’t going away any time soon.
Enter the Florida Bar Association and their Young Lawyers Division. In honor of the month of wellness, they’ve been all over Twitter issuing wellness challenges to the bar.
We've got several #LiveWell challenges to throw your way this a.m. Let's begin …
#1: Find a way to give back to someone today. #FlaYLD

These tools demonstrate that information is power.
They’re also doing a series of brief interview with state judges on the issues of mental health and wellness.
Judge Jason Dimitris has this advice for younger lawyers:
The one thing I would tell a stressed out and overwhelmed young lawyer is… life and the practice of law is a roller coaster with highs and lows. Can’t get the highs without the lows. Hang on for the highs… they are coming.
Judge Tim Osterhaus reflects on some of the animosity inherent in the legal profession and notes:
The best way to deal with a difficult colleague or opposing counsel is… be firm on things that matter, but humble, kind, and blameless in the interactions.
Judge Susan Kelsey takes on the future of the industry and reflects:
The one thing that concerns me most about the future of the legal profession is… crumbling standards for civility and professionalism.
Then the Florida Bar Association took to Twitter to ask more judges how they #livewell.
To extend question to other judges: @JudgeDillard, @SMarstiller, @JudgeLayneSmith, @KathrynWeston, @keepjdgbranning

Still working on it; hope to have it mastered by next year's Health & Wellness Month. Suggestions welcome. #livewell https://t.co/3vhwVWTdXf
