As we head into the weekend and look forward to Lawyer’s Field Day on Monday, we want to take a moment to thank all of you for your work on behalf of our clients and the extraordinary service which you provide. The Firm remains very busy, and we are lucky to have such talented people with whom to collaborate on important client work.

We also want to announce changes to our compensation scale for associates, counsel and non-equity partners. We are very pleased to announce that base salaries for these groups will be adjusted effective July 1, 2016 consistent with recent market changes. We are considering the impact of these changes on the salaries of staff scientists, patent agents, and lawyers who are on special arrangements, and expect to communicate information directly to those individuals as soon as decisions are made.
Also effective July 1st, the weekly base salaries of the summer associates will be increased consistent with the new annual base salaries of the class of 2015 ($180,000).
Each of you will shortly receive a memo from Elaine Bortman which confirms your new salary.
