Former U.S. Attorney Preet Bharaha secured a book deal with Alfred A. Knopf for a memoir tackling “integrity, leadership, decision making, and moral reasoning.” But don’t worry, it’ll also talk about Trump lying to him and then firing him because that’s the whole point!
Writing a book is a well-worn stop on the “running for office” tour. A few hundred pages on the audacity of hard charges to keep is the ideal launching pad for a political career. But what job is Preet trying to get? The book is due out in early 2019, which probably means Preet isn’t looking to unseat Andrew Cuomo in 2018 to the dismay of New Yorkers who are willing to vote for Son of Sam right now if it’d oust the incompetent douche in Albany. Because no matter what that dog said, it never said something this stupid.
