Subject: 2017 Associate Bonuses – New York

On behalf of the firm and the New York partners, I am very pleased to announce that we will pay a discretionary year-end New York bonus in the February 15, 2018 payroll.  Below is our schedule of 2017 bonuses by class year:

Class of 2017 – $15,000 (prorated)

Class of 2016 – $15,000

Class of 2015 – $25,000

Class of 2014 – $50,000

Class of 2013 – $65,000

Class of 2012 – $80,000

Class of 2011 – $90,000

Class of 2010 (+ prior years) – $100,000

Bonuses will be paid to eligible New York associates in a manner consistent with the firm’s compensation and evaluation policies.  To receive bonuses, associates must be in good standing and employed by the firm when the bonuses are paid.  As in past years, bonus amounts paid may vary from the schedule above based on individual performance and productivity.  Bonuses will be prorated for those joining during the year, working under reduced hours arrangements, or on leaves of absence during the calendar year.  This year the firm will also pay an additional amount to those associates who had the busiest years, e.g., 2,500+ Legal Service Hours.

Bonuses for Of Counsel are determined separately; we will send individual messages about those bonuses in the first quarter of 2018.

Thank you for all that you have done for the firm and our clients in 2017.  Best wishes for the New Year.

Regards,

Brett
