We were notified late today that the American Bar Association (ABA) is withdrawing us from its list of approved (accredited) law schools. It also has directed us to compose a teach out plan, the purpose of which is to ensure currently enrolled students will graduate with a degree that enables them to sit for a bar examination anywhere in the United States. The decision is subject to appeal, which must be made within 30 days. As you know, we recently filed a lawsuit against the American Bar Association alleging abuse of power, denial of due process, and application of double standards (e.g., not sanctioning or lightly sanctioning schools with lesser admission standards). We currently are meeting with our legal counsel with respect to other steps. As we gain more information, we will share it with you promptly.
