Hindsight Is 20/20 For Former Biglaw Chairman Involved In Sexting Scandal

This was very ill-advised.

I was irrational, I was stupid, and I was reckless.

William Voge, the former chairman of Latham & Watkins, describing the behavior that forced his resignation and retirement from the firm. Last spring, Voge began texting a married mother of three, and their interactions devolved into his threatening to send her to jail. After Voge lost his job, he emailed the following to Latham’s partners, “For those of you who had the courage to tell me of your disappointment, I want you to know that your disappointment in me will never exceed my own disappointment in myself.”
