White House Counsel Don McGahn will be leaving his position in the fall, shortly after the confirmation (hopefully) of Judge Brett Kavanaugh to the United States Supreme Court. I have worked with Don for a long time and truly appreciate his service!

—This morning President Trump tweeted out that White House Counsel, Don McGahn, will be leaving the job in the fall. The announcement, such as it is, comes amid reports that McGahn gave 30 hours of interviews to special prosecutor Robert Mueller. No word on whether McGahn plans on returning to the loving embrace of Biglaw after his stint in the White House.
