Sidley Austin is apparently trying to buck the trend when it comes to lateral hiring. While most Biglaw operations are looking towards cutting-edge technology, social media, and recruiting firms to fill their vital lateral needs, Sidley has decided to go old school. We’re talking like pre-internet style… that’s right, they went with a print classified ad.
And here it is in all it’s glory:

Protégé™ In CourtLink® Explains The Whole Case Faster
Designed to reduce manual docket work by prioritizing what litigators need most: on-demand full docket summarization that explains the whole case to date, followed by on-demand document summaries for filing triage, and AI-powered natural language searching for faster search and retrieval.
The best part is Sidley took the ad out in the New York Post. Not the Times or even the Wall Street Journal, but the Post. Perhaps they have some super secret industry intel that suggests all the best and brightest in capital markets really enjoy punny headlines.
UPDATE: Some tipsters believe the job posting to be related to Program Electronic Review Management (PERM) System Labor Certification. A PERM job posting (which is a part of the labor market test associated with the green card process) requires print advertising.
