— Democratic presidential candidate Senator Kirsten Gillibrand, opening up about how unhappy she was as an attorney, during her CNN town hall last night. Gillibrand, an alumnus of Davis Polk, used to defend Big Tobacco during her time at the firm, and said, “I really felt like I wasn’t doing the thing I was supposed to be built to do. I felt like god put be on this planet to help people, and I didn’t feel like I was making a difference.” She later worked as a partner at Boies Schiller before going into politics.
