— Rudy Giuliani, personal attorney to President Donald Trump, in comments given to CNN regarding the whistleblower complaint where he is implicated in allegedly having “deeply concern[ing]” communications with Ukrainian officials and nationals such that two State Department officials reportedly had to speak with him “in an attempt to ‘contain the damage’ to U.S. national security.” Giuliani went on to say, “I should be as sympathetic as a whistleblower. I did my job and now all these people are torturing me.”
