Judicial icon Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, a beacon of hope for women’s rights in America, passed away in September 2020, but her legacy will last forever. Almost one year after her death, and with law school texts of the liberal lioness having recently been put on the auction block, people have started to wonder about the value of her estate and what will become of the rest of her belongings.
As luck would have it, TMZ recently obtained a copy of the Notorious RBG’s will, and in a not at all shocking turn of events, the Supreme Court justice left the vast majority of her estate and personal belongings — valued at just under $6 million — to her two children, Professor Jane Ginsburg of Columbia Law and classical music producer James Ginsburg.

Who else was a taker under Ginsburg’s will? That would be her longtime housekeeper, Elizabeth Salas, who will walk away with $40,000. Salas reportedly worked with Ginsburg for 22 years, and was a friend until the end, sitting beside Joe Biden while Ginsburg lay in state at the Capitol.
May her memory be a blessing.
