Even Biglaw Firms That Won’t Be Open Until 2022 Are Requiring All Employees To Be Vaccinated

The FDA has fully approved one COVID-19 vaccine. Will your firm be mandating vaccination for all?

WILLKIE FARR — MEMO — COVID UPDATE

KRAMER LEVIN — MEMO — PROOF OF VACCINATION REQUIRED TO ENTER THE OFFICE

All:

As noted in the recent town hall meetings, we have been closely evaluating vaccination protocols. We have concluded that implementing a requirement to be vaccinated against COVID-19 in order to enter our New York and Silicon Valley offices is the best course of action to protect our community at this time.

Effective Wednesday, August 25, only those Kramer Levin team members who have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and have uploaded proof of vaccination to the Eden Health portal will be permitted access to the Kramer Levin offices. This policy will also apply to any third party wishing to enter our offices, including but not limited to clients, guests and vendors.

Any exception to this policy will require the approval of either the managing partners or our chief operating officer. Please note that anyone granted an exception will be required to undergo regular COVID-19 testing.

As a reminder, attendance at the office remains voluntary until further notice. We will provide notice at least 30 days prior to the return-to–the-office date.

If you have any questions or concerns about the new requirement or wish to request an exception, please contact Cindy Arnold.

Thank you.

– Paul and Howard
