We are pleased to announce our associate bonus program for the 2020-2021 measuring period. Over the past year, we have seen client demands exceeding expectations and our bonus program reflects our gratitude to you for the efforts put in to achieve the Firm’s and our client’s goals.

Year-End Bonus
Associates who have met the hours requirements will receive an hours based year-end bonus. As a reminder, our bonus program awards those associates who meet the 2000 hour requirement with a market based year-end bonus. In addition, we are pleased to award associates who record 2200 and 2400 hours (and meet the 1850 billable hour requirement) 110% and 120% of the market based bonus. We will also continue to recognize associates at the 1900 and 1950 hours levels as well. Once the billable hour target is met, we also count unlimited pro bono hours and 75 hours of Firm creditable time (including Diversity and Inclusion hours, Business Development and Training/Mentoring, among other categories) towards the hours based bonus program.
Special Bonus
In addition to our standard year-end hours based bonus, we are also awarding associates with a Special Bonus recognizing their continued hard work during this unprecedented time. The Special Bonus will follow the same guidelines as our standard bonus program at the 1900, 1950 and 2000 hour levels. The special bonus will be paid at the same time as our year-end bonus payments in January.

A new proposal would let wealthy foreign nationals secure an opportunity for a U.S. green card with a $1 million 'gift' to the government, sparking legal and ethical debate.
Discretionary Bonus
The Firm will continue to award discretionary bonuses to those associates who have gone above and beyond for the Firm and our clients at the recommendation of our Practice Group Leaders. Discretionary bonus decisions will be shared during annual evaluation meetings.
Associate bonuses will be paid in January to qualifying Associates working at the Firm. The year-end bonus scale and a link to our Associate Credit Hours and Bonus Policy can be found below.
