Zoom KittyWe may be approaching the third year of COVID, but that doesn’t mean lawyers have smoothed over all their tech problems. Or maybe it’s just that Judge Roy Ferguson’s courtroom is cursed.

The 394th District Court enjoyed Internet notoriety after Lawyer Cat appeared at a virtual hearing. At the time, lawyer Rod Ponton couldn’t figure out how to turn off a camera filter that transformed him into a talking cat.

Judge Ferguson probably thought Lawyer Cat would be the end of it, but it turns out an unintended sequel was in the works all along.
