An Early Adopter Of The Milbank Scale Finally Comes Around To Announce Cravath Raises For Associates

Better late than never!

cash_dollarNow that Cravath has announced its salary scale and umpteen firms have already matched, others that announced salary increases in the early days of the 2022 raise race are finally coming around to meet the prevailing market standard.

One of those firms is Choate Hall & Stewart, a firm that took in $274,746,000 in gross revenue in 2020, making it #119 on the Am Law 200. Yesterday afternoon, the firm notified associates that they will be receiving Cravath-level salaries. If you recall, the firm matched Milbank back in mid-February.
