Disgraced Former Attorney General Arrested. Again.
The convicted criminal has another legal problem.
Remember former Pennsylvania Attorney General Kathleen Kane? Her story started out so hopeful. In 2013, she was the first Democrat and first woman elected to the position. But the downfall, well, that was something. It was revealed Kane shut down a public corruption investigation, and then retaliated against the prosecutor she blamed for the leak. But it got more bonkers as Kane’s story also involved lying to a grand jury, using her twin sister as a decoy, and getting state supreme court justices to resign in a porn scandal.
After the whole scandal broke, she was sent to prison and disbarred. But Kane was released from prison back in 2019 — though she remains on probation — so what’s the disgraced former AG up to now?

Oh, getting arrested again I see.
Scranton Police Chief Thomas Carroll said Kane was released on “general impairment DUI charges” after a car crash this weekend. No injuries were reported in the crash, and formal charges will be filed later this week.
No word yet on whether she’ll be blaming her twin sister for this one.
