It's Time For Some Cravath Cash At This Top 20 Biglaw Firm
Tick tock, it's raise o'clock!
Yet another leading law firm has matched the Cravath salary scale. Wait a second, you might be thinking. Didn’t this firm announce a salary update just last week? Why, yes, yes, it did! This is going to be happening a lot, so we hope there’s no confusion.
Paul Weiss — a firm ranked at No. 20 in the most recent Am Law 100, with $1,543,730,000 in 2020 gross revenue in 2020 — was one of the first firms to match Davis Polk, and now it’s one of the first firms to match Cravath. The firm announced its second set of salary increases according to the following grid:
The firm didn’t even bother to update the salary grid with its adoption of the Davis Polk scale because it happened such a short time ago that the money hasn’t even reached associate bank accounts yet.
The firm’s re-raise is retroactive to January 1. Congratulations, yet again!
